Hello Neighbors,

We are off to a warm spring so I hope everyone is having a pleasant 2015 so far!  Many projects underway as usual which I will update below.  Did you know that this website also has a calendar where we post any important information that we receive or feel is appropriate for the residents?  Feel free to check it out by pressing the button on the menu bar.  Two major events coming up are the garage sale and the annual picnic….

Picnic

If you would like to attend the annual neighborhood picnic please sign up below.  The board spends time/money on trying to order the appropriate amount of food as the event will be catered by BBQ Daddy Catering.  We will provide the food, water, and dessert.  There will also be a bounce house again for the kids and some adults!  The picnic will start at 4PM on April 19th on the grass over by the Pump House.  Please sign up so we can get a proper headcount for the caterer and we hope to see you there!

Garage Sale

We will be posting the neighborhood garage sale on April 18th.  You do not need to do anything for signup.  Keep in mind if you have items that don’t sell and you still want to get rid of them there are many local charities that would appreciate your things!  It could potentially be a tax deduction as well!

Pump House

As many of you have probably seen, the new expanded pump house is almost complete.  The addition allows us a bit more storage space and makes the roof functionality more accessible to the main pump that runs the irrigation to the neighborhood common areas.  It sure has been a process but all of the recent changes should allow us many more safe years going forward.

Tree Planting

We are gearing up to do some tree planting mostly along the East Wall of the community.  The trees are mostly lined up at this point and we are coordinating the planting and irrigation currently.  This project should complete this spring and give us some more cover and color along the wall facing our neighbors.  Thank you to all of those involved.  Wentworth properties was also kind enough to give us 10 additional trees for along the east wall.

Lake Reserve Study

Per our plans to properly allocate and anticipate our budget going forward we have contracted our new lake management company Aquatic Consulting in Tempe to do a Lake Reserve study as this is are largest asset in the community.  This study should allow us to understand our chemical makeup and sediment levels throughout the lake so we can track the rise and fall over the years and be able to properly balance levels in the lake or anticipate any additional costs/needs for the lake in the long term picture.  Knowing this information can help us ensure we have the proper reserves to meet the future needs of the lake.
