The community would like to take a moment to recognize and thank Mr. Ed Grabowski for his dedication to this community. After serving on the Association Board for over 10 years Ed has decided to pass the reigns over. Ed has taken countless hours of his personal time to ensure that this community continued to thrive and look beautiful as it does today. His knowledge in landscaping architecture, plants, trees, and mechanics has made a huge difference in the community. Ed will be missed on the Board but will still be living quietly in the neighborhood! If you see Ed around be sure to give him your thanks.
Here is the message from the Homeowner on Drake…
” I was working in the fromt yard yesterday and a lost puppy ended up on my doorstep, literally. We have her and are caring for her but I need to find her home. She’s a chiwawa (maybe mix) and she’s tan/light brown with some white markings; she’s tiny When she arrived at my house she was terrrified and she’s been starving. Her bones show she’s so thin. My daughter took her to the vet and they think she’s about 2 months old.”
…We will try to post a picture if we receive one. You may contact the association if you have any information or interest in adopting the puppy.
It has been reported that a couple of stray Pit Bull like dogs were running loose by the McClintock benches. The first dog was described as brown with white patches, the other was light colored. They were spotted on Wednesday, October 2nd @ 8:30AM. Tempe non emergency (480) 350-8311 was notified and said they would send somebody out. Please be aware of your own pets and keep them fenced or leased.
There have also been reports of excess cats in the neighborhood. If you own a cat it is your responsibility to keep your pets in a fenced area or inside your residence. Please be courteous of other neighbors in the community and not let them wonder at will. If you see a stray cat you may call animal control.
The new Association Board of Directors has been elected and we will update the community following the October meeting held at Kinney Management.
As alway, if you have anything that needs to be reported to the community at large you may submit it on the website and it will be distributed to the community in this format. More to come about the community picnic and fall community garage sale!
