Hello Oasis Residents!
Hope everyone has been enjoying the beautiful weather. The neighborhood seems to be an excellent working order and ready for the winter months! Please make sure to sign-up on the petition below if you are AGAINST putting up an additional stoplight at Shutterfly Way & Elliot Rd.
FISH IN THE LAKE
We have stocked the lake with some fish to help continue to improve the echo system and have the most natural environment to maintain a healthy lake for a long haul! Doing this properly over the years can save large reserve dollars for things like drudging sediment and/or chemicals if the lake is following a natural cycle. The lake has not had fish added for many years although we do have permits to do so. Now that we are measuring and keeping record of the lake statistics we are going to see if we have a noticeable impact over the next couple of years from the addition of the fish. Over 3,000 full size fish and minnows have been added!
The Board has voted and approved the Community Liaison position to contract work throughout the community such as fountain cleaning and maintenance, water supply calls, Infraction reporting, Common ground assessments and more. This should allow the community to stay on top of issues that arise as we continue to perfect/finalize our scheduling implementation plan to have the community cycle on a plan that address all parts and maintains a proactive approach to management.
We are in the final stages of getting a tree pruning company approved to start trimming trees on a schedule throughout the community. We have many trees over 20 years old now that need regular attention and pruning to maintain healthy growth and reduce liability to the community and homeowners. This has been a long process to get in order as it is not fiscally responsible to have companies come in and do only a few trees at a time but to rather have a community plan to address as a whole.
We hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving and safe travels if leaving town!
