Hello Neighbors!
Well, it seems as though we all got a bit of a tease there with some cooler weather for a week. We hope everyone survived monsoon season this year and didn’t have any major issues. As a reminder please check your landscape and exterior of your house to make sure your weeds are picked, trees are trimmed, and your house still has a clean coat of paint to keep the neighborhood looking fresh and new!
There were (3) open board positions this year for two year terms that came due. After some stiff competition (nobody), your current board has elected to stay on board for the community so your (3) elected officers are…
If you would like to read my notes from the meeting please click here and it will direct you to a PDF with my talking points from the meeting. Overall the community continues to be in great shape and our two main directions going forward are to set up a proper community tree trimming schedule and implement the community liaison position.

We are in the process of re-stocking the fish in the lake as well. The purpose of this is to continue to create a proper ecosystem and elude the buildup of sediment at the bottom of the lake to prolong any large lake expenditures. Our new lake management company has been doing a very nice job being diligent and letting us know the proper lake needs to prolong its lifetime.
We hope everyone is a proud owner in The Oasis and will continue to keep their homes in tip top shape. Get to know your neighbors, ask questions and keep that pride of ownership. It will go a long way in keeping this community thriving for years to come. The Board continues to work to create efficiencies that will maintain a stable community! We will be posting some additional information from the 2015 Survey that was sent out but I think you will find some of your questions are answered in the Annual Meeting notes link provided above. Happy almost Fall folks!

In the restocking of fish, how about crappies?
The fish are recommended by the lake management company for purposes of ecosystem and I didn’t see those on the list. We are seeing if the investment is worth doing on a regular basis and we could ask about crappie for future injections. Thanks!
